Abby + Luke
Ask a photographer, and they’ll tell you about their love for early morning engagement sessions. Capturing the sun right as it comes up over the horizon or right after it does so just adds so much to an already beautiful photo session.
I had the pleasure of doing just this on the morning of November 21st. That’s when I headed up to Northport, Alabama to photograph Abby + Luke’s engagement session.
Abby and Luke’s engagement session had wonderfully personal touches to it. The first location they used was where Abby’s grandmother’s old home.
The site had a lot of sentimental value to Abby, and it was beautiful being able to photograph her and Luke on the grounds. We made use of the home’s rock wall, big magnolia tree, front porch, and more.
From there, we drove a bit up the road to the area where Luke resides. His neighbor allowed us to use his picturesque land as the other location for the engagement session.
We made use of the stunning view the land provided us along with the rustic white fence and all the other great details surrounding us.
All in all, it was a great way to spend a Saturday morning! I can’t wait to photograph Abby and Luke’s wedding in the spring of 2021. I know it’s going to be such a beautiful day and celebration.
