I’ve enjoyed having DSmithImages Wedding Photography, Portraits, and Events on a bit of a winter break, but I was also happy to get things going again on February 16th with a family maternity portrait session in the Tuscaloosa, Alabama area.
Specifically, I headed to lovely downtown Northport on a quiet Saturday morning to meet the Richardson family. The Richardsons are friends of mine, and I’ve done several sessions for them over the years. They wanted to do a maternity session in anticipation of their newest arrival, daughter Olivia Ruth, who will be welcomed into the world in April. It was an absolute pleasure to do this session because I also did maternity portraits for them when they were expecting their first daughter, Cora, who is now 5 years old.
We had a wonderful time making use of all the different settings and areas in the downtown Northport area. It really is one of my favorite locations to do a portrait session in the Tuscaloosa community, and this time was no different. It offered a great variety for this maternity session to celebrate the upcoming arrival of little Olivia.
I’d like to thank the Richardson family for having me out to do these portraits, and I’m so looking forward to doing a session with them when Olivia is born. Until then, though, enjoy a sampling of photos from this family maternity session in the Tuscaloosa, Alabama area, specifically, downtown Northport.
