The afternoon of April 17th was a warm and sunny day on the campus of The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and that meant it was a perfect time to do some college graduation portraits! I headed down to the Druid City to meet up with Sean, an upcoming graduate with a degree in computer science.
The session actually started off-campus as the first location was the Tuscaloosa River Market on the banks of the Black Warrior River. Sean wanted some photos taken at this spot along with the nearby River Walk. We made use of the lovely river backdrop along with the lush greenery available on the River Walk. It was a great way to begin this particular session.
When we made our way to the campus of The University of Alabama, our first stop was the beautiful Marr’s Spring. The spot is one of my favorite parts of campus, and I’m always glad when I get to do a portrait session there. It’s so lovely to photograph, especially in the spring. Once we finished at Marr’s Spring, Sean and I headed to the popular graduation spots on campus for the remainder of the session. We included Bryant-Denny Stadium, The President’s Mansion, and, finally, Denny Chimes before calling it an evening.
I’d like to say thanks to Sean and his family for choosing DSmithImages Wedding Photography, Portraits, and Events to do this graduation session on the campus of The University of Alabama. If you are wanting to talk about getting some graduation photos done, I’d love to talk with you as well!
