University of Alabama
Making use of a beautiful afternoon in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on March 20th, I scheduled two graduation portrait sessions on the campus of The University of Alabama. The second one that day was with Kristina, an upcoming graduate with a focus in international studies and German.
I met up with Kristina on The Quad and around Denny Chimes. That is where we started the session, and then we moved on to get a series of photos at The President’s Mansion. From there, Kristina wanted to include two academic buildings that were important to her time at The University of Alabama.
We stopped at B.B. Comer, home to the international program, and then Ten Hoor, which also housed a lot of Kristina’s classes for her major and minor. Incorporating academic buildings, especially those important to a graduate’s major, is something I always love to do during a graduation session.
To close things out, we stopped at Bryant-Denny Stadium and The Walk of Champions. Kristina popped some champagne and took some photos in front of Nick Saban’s statue as a way of putting a cap on this session and celebrating her time at The University of Alabama.
I’d like to thank Kristina for having me photograph her graduation session! I want to wish her nothing but the best in her life after graduation as well!
