Megan + Kerry
Wedding Photos
Fernwood of Mentone
Mentone, Alabama

Mentone is a beautiful part of Alabama, and that makes the area a beautiful spot for weddings. I had the pleasure of going back to Mentone on September 12th to photograph the lovely wedding of Megan and Kerry.

Megan and Kerry tied the knot at the intimate Fernwood of Mentone. They held their ceremony inside the picturesque little chapel on the grounds and were surrounded by close family members. It was a touching morning celebration that was a pleasure to be able to witness.

Once Megan and Kerry said vows, they took some time to take photos on the grounds of Fernwood of Mentone before taking a quick drive to DeSoto Falls. With the beautiful natural surroundings present, Megan and Kerry took more photos and didn’t even let a sudden but brief downpour of rain dampen their spirits.

Once everything was finished, Megan and Kerry went to the Wildflower Cafe where they joined their family members for lunch. One of the highlights was definitely the wedding cake, which was made by Kerry’s mother and daughter.

I want to thank Megan and Kerry for having me out to photograph their lovely celebration. It was a wonderful experience. I’d also like to thank the staff at Fernwood of Mentone for making every feel at home and for providing such a beautiful venue along with the beautiful floral decorations.
