The morning of March 17th was a lovely one on the campus of The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, and I made the best of it by heading down there to do a graduation portrait session for Emma. The campus was quite peaceful and serene, and it made for the perfect setting for an early spring portrait session.
Emma made use of all the popular spots on campus, such as Denny Chimes, The Presiden’’s Mansion, and Bryant-Denny Stadium, which are always great to photograph.
Emma then wanted to really personalize the shoot. We made use of academic buildings important to her, and those included Gordon Palmer Hall and Farrah Hall. We also got some photos done in front of her truck, which is a personal tradition of hers, and we then got some in front of DePalma’s, a Tuscaloosa restaurant where Emma works.
It was a great session, and I want to thank Emma so much for choosing DSmithImages Wedding Photography, Portraits, and Events to photograph it for her. I want to wish her all the best in her future after graduation, which will involve graduate school.
If you’re looking to book a portrait session of your own, I’d love to talk to you. Visit my portrait photography pricing section for additional info or simply fill out the form below.
