The 2019 spring semester is winding down so that means it’s high time for graduation portraits, especially on the lovely campus of The University of Alabama. I had the opportunity to head to Tuscaloosa during the afternoon of April 14th to do a session for Ruby, a soon to be graduate with a degree in chemistry. It was a wonderful time and a wonderful session at the Capstone.

We started the portrait session at a building close to Ruby’s academic career. Most of her classes took place at Shelby Hall, and she wanted to make sure and get photographs at that location. I rarely get over to that portion of campus for graduation sessions so it was a delight to get to photograph a relatively new location on campus. From there, we went into the heart of The University of Alabama and made use of Denny Chimes, The President’s Mansion, and Bryant-Denny Stadium.

I’d like to extend a word of thanks and gratitude to Ruby and her family for having me document this graduation portrait session. I’d also like to wish Ruby the best with the rest of the semester and post-graduation!

Please enjoy a sampling of photos from Ruby’s graduation portrait session on the campus of The University of Alabama. If you are looking to schedule a graduation portrait session of your own, I’d love to talk with you.
