My love for Panama City Beach, Florida, the true Panama City Beach before 30A crept in that direction, will never die.

That’s why I had a lovely sense of nostalgia on April 20th when I found myself in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

I was in the area to photograph a wedding in North Carolina, so I decided to hop in a car and see Myrtle Beach for myself.

I’m glad I did because, well, it was everything I wanted it to be.

Touristy, kitschy, outlandish, and every other adjective you can think of to describe Myrtle Beach would be appropriate.

I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
