The evening of May 3rd, 2020 was a beautiful one in historic downtown Northport, Alabama. A warm blanket of sunlight draped the quaint area centered around the Kentuck Art Center, and that made it a perfect location for Savannah and Logan’s engagement photos.
Savannah and Logan will be getting married in Tuscaloosa in April of 2021. It was a pleasure being able to do this engagement session for them in advance of their wedding celebration. The happy young couple was a delight to work with during the shoot, and their love for each other really came out throughout the evening.
We made use of the Kentuck Art Center’s lovely courtyard area and then used all the other scenic locations in downtown Northport. The storefronts, the brickwork, and various art displays all made for such great backdrops. Those features along with the golden hour sunlight combined for perfect engagement session conditions.
Savannah, Logan, and I finished the session by the iconic railroad trestle bridge that’s right nextdoor to downtown Northport. As the sun began to retire for the evening, we put a cap on what was just a super fun and wonderul engagement session.
I do hope you enjoy this sampling of photos from Savannah and Logan’s engagement session in downtown Northport. Please take a moment to look through them and, if you’re in need of a wedding photographer or know someone who is in need, I’d love to talk.
