Rain and the remnants of a tropical storm couldn’t dampen the mood on the morning of October 11th as I headed to Historic Downtown Northport, Alabama to photograph the engagement session for Hilary and Keaton.
This happy young couple will be getting married in December, and they wanted to get some fall engagement photos done before their big celebration.
We decided on Historic Downtown Northport, Alabama, a location I’ve photographed many times. The session started in the whimsical courtyard of the Kentuck Art Center before we explored the various buildings and structures in the vicinity.
Hilary and Keaton were a delight to work with as we made use of all the local backgrounds before finishing up at the railroad trestle bridge near the Black Warrior River.
This session was super fun to photograph, and I know it’s going to be the same way for Hilary and Keaton’s wedding celebration in December! I’m so looking forward to that special day.
