I have done several engagement photography sessions in the Northport and Tuscaloosa, Alabama area over the years, but one I did on May 13th quickly became a personal favorite of mine. The session was for Elizabeth and Erik, two good friends who will be getting in March of 2018. They wanted to go ahead and get their engagement photos done before the summer season begins in Alabama, and I was happy to oblige the request.
We met up early on a Saturday morning when the weather looked as if it was not going to cooperate. The rain was lingering in the area, but, thankfully, it all cleared up just as we were about to begin the shoot in downtown Northport.
That actually allowed for perfect conditions due to the overcast sky. Erik and Elizabeth made use of the lovely downtown Northport setting and the various eye-pleasing locations in the area. Those included some of the businesses and historic homes along with the iconic railroad trestle bridge.
It was a blast getting to work with Elizabeth and Erik in these settings. I know it will be the same in March of 2018 when I get to photograph their wedding day, and I can’t wait to see how everything turns out and looks for their celebration.
Enjoy the photos from this lovely engagement session. If you are in need of a wedding photographer, visit my wedding photography pricing section for more information about my services or simply fill out the form below for more information.
