Going to new places for a shoot is something I always love to do, especially if it’s in a place where I lived for a number of years. I had the chance to do that on October 6th when photographing the engagement session for Megan and Tucker at Lake Harris in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Even though I lived in Tuscaloosa for 13 years, I had never been to this part of Tuscaloosa.
Megan and Tucker will be getting married in Wisconsin in June, and it was an absolute delight getting to work with them on this session. They recommended the location as it is a place they like to hike and visit. We made use of all the beautiful natural features Lake Harris had to offer, while also keeping the session fun and festive.
I’d like to thank Megan and Tucker for having me out to do this session, and I want to wish them nothing but the best for their wedding in June. I’d also like to thank them for showing me a part of Tuscaloosa that I didn’t know was out there!
