The University of Alabama
November 23rd, 2021
Fall is a mighty fine time to do a graduation portrait session on the campus of The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Fall at golden hour is even a better time for a session.
I had the pleasure of doing a fall session during golden hour in Tuscaloosa when I got to work with Kailey during the afternoon of November 23rd. Kailey is about to graduate with a degree in chemistry, and she wanted to mark this milestone with some graduation portraits.
We started the session in front of Shelby Hall, which is where Kailey had several of her classes. From there, we walked to the Quad and shot in front of Denny Chimes and The President’s Mansion. To finish things, we took lots of photos around Bryant-Denny Stadium and the Walk of Champions.
The campus was bathed in such beautiful sunlight throughout this shoot, and it made the present autumn colors pop even more tremendously. This all combined to make Kailey’s graduation session a fantastic experience!
I want to thank Kailey for having me out to photograph her graduation session. It was a pleasure to do, and I want to wish her all the best in her life after graduating from The University of Alabama.
