Places Photography

I love photographing places. A building. A beautiful landscape. A crowded city scene. They all speak to me, and they all want me to pull out my camera and shoot away.

The images you see here come from places around where I live, the Birmingham, Alabama area, and places I’ve visited for work trips or vacations since the year 2009.

I decided to combine all of my work from 2009 to 2020 in one gallery as I wasn’t dedicated to photographing “Places” on a consistent level until after the COVID-19 Pandemic. I began traveling a great deal in 2021 and spending time on the road documenting what I was seeing.

Each year has a collection of photo stories and then a gallery of single images from various places. I hope they give you a sense of how I like to photograph and document a particular location.
